MCP 200/250/300/500 Sucromat is an automatic saccharimeter for the highly accurate analysis of products in the sugar industry. The values are given in °Z (International Sugar Scale). While MCP 200/300 Sucromat measures at 589 nm, MCP 250/500 Sucromat measures at two wavelengths: 589 nm (VIS) and 880 nm (NIR). Using the NIR wavelength 880 nm allows analysis of strongly colored filtrates which cannot be measured at 589nm. The modular design allows customer-specific configurations and future upgrades.
